Emergency Response
Course Name: Emergency Response
Length: 54 hours
Pre-requisites: None
Description: This 54 hour course is designed for those who work as a first responder in an emergency to help sustain life, reduce pain and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until more advanced medical help can arrive. Course content includes CPR for the Professional Rescuer, care for sudden illnesses and injuries, Preventing Disease Transmission, and Oxygen Administration. $200 includes all course materials.
Refund Policy: Refunds are allowed if you contact Red Cross office by calling 606-473-9594 at least 24 hours before the start time of the course. All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee. "No shows" are not eligible for refund.
Certification: Upon successful completion, students will receive a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification valid for one (1) year and an Emergency Response certification valid for three (3) years.
